Ceramics is taught at Edith Cowan University as part of the art education units in the Bachelor of Education programmes of Early Childhood and Primary at Mount Lawley Campus and the  K - 7 course at Joondalup.  It is also included in the Bachelor of Education, Primary at the Bunbury Campus.

One unit of 12 weeks devoted entirely to Ceramics is included in the Double Degree - Bachelor of Arts Education / Bachelor of Creative Arts  at Mount Lawley which produces art teachers in the Secondary School system.

In addition to on-campus courses, the Ceramics Workshop also conducts a Distance Ceramics program, based on the part time Diploma. This is an exciting and innovative course, which also draws on the best of national and international tutors during the intensive nine day residential schools conducted each semester.For further information. SODA centres around the International Visiting Artist program.  We have also implemented a  Professional Development programme which is theme or process based.  The workshops tend not to be pitched at a particular skill level or require a certain knowledge base. We have school excursions and school workshops but not specifically holiday children’s classes as such.
