Bill Meiklejohn

I work from my home studio in Willyabrup called Willyabrup Dreaming. Most of my creative work draws on the ocean for inspiration. I guess this is a result of being a keen surfer and diver for much of my life. I like to explore different ways of creating forms by altering wheel thrown shapes, it seems the possibilities are endless. The wheel allows the opportunity to capture the fluid lines of marine forms in an immediate way. The refining of these shapes can go on for years!
