My work is predominantly functional with food presentation in mind, and decorative enough to be displayed when not in use. It is either handbuilt or thrown and altered, with fancy little feet and sgraffito or shellac relief decoration. I usually use matt glazes over porcelaineous stoneware clay, fired in either electric or gas kilns.
