Janet Kovesi Watt,
Janet began pottery in England in the 1950's, making earthenware decorated with slip. A decade later in Western Australia, she was able to move into stoneware, but retained her love of the decorative possibilities of slip. She enjoys making pots for use, particularly teapots. She has recently started to explore the challenges and rewards of wood firing.
