“Eucalypts are majestic; coated in dusty green and brown, their exquisite and intricate flowers can sometimes go unnoticed, high atop the canopy. I’m inspired by their quiet splendour – they evoke for me a connection quintessentially Australian, the spirit of this dry land and forever sky.”

Melanie’s current collections are almost solely functional pieces, including bowls, plates, mugs, platters and tea cups, as well as a range of gift and garden ware, children’s buttons and Christmas decorations.
Melanie runs adult ceramic workshops and teacher PD workshops in her back yard studio.
