Why join?
- To support and promote Western Australian ceramics and professional ceramic practice
- To meet others involved in ceramics, and to share information and expertise To enjoy the substantial membership benefits.
- The annual membership fee is tax deductible for teachers and practicing professionals
Membership benefits:
- Bimonthly newsletter PYRE with free ceramic related advertising for members
- Participation in members exhibitions
- Take part in workshops organised by CAAWA at a reduced fee 10%
- Discount at Jacksons and Potter’s Market with membership card
- New Edition Bookshop, 50 South Terrace, Fremantle to receive 15% discount on ceramic books (from November)
Who can be a member?
- Membership is open to everyone interested in ceramics.
- Membership is for one year from July to June
Full Membership – annual fee $ 40
Open to practicing professionals, teachers, students, curators, writers and all enthusiasts and supporters of ceramics and glass. Full members are entitled to all privileges of membership including voting and participation in sales, exhibits.
Student Membership - annual fee $ 25.
Open to full-time undergraduate ceramics students and apprentices. Students have discounted full membership. A copy of the Student ID card has to accompany the annual membership fee.
Group Membership - annual fee $ 50.
Open to ceramic groups, suppliers, institutions, galleries and retail outlets who support the Association. A group has one vote at the AGM and is entitled to free advertising space for ceramic events in the newsletter.
Associate Membership - annual fee $ 25.
Open to clay and glass artists, collectors, and others who support the programs and activities of the Association.
Associate members will receive the bi-monthly newsletter but have no voting privileges
