Whiteman Park Pottery

Whiteman Park Pottery has been in operation since May 1988 and is a co-operative of potters plus one glass-worker.
Whiteman Park is a National Park and a tourist attraction located 16km from central Perth. Within the park is "The Village" and it is within this village that the Pottery Gallery/Shop is located.
At the rear of the Pottery is a workshop with kiln, wheels, slab roller, extruder, work bench etc.
While most members work from home, some use the facilities on site. Each member has their own set of shelves to display their work. Vacant shelves are used for one-off pieces or special interest work such as Raku or pit fired pots.
A new "internal exhibition" is set up most months. These may be solo exhibitions, joint exhibitions by all (or some) members, or by an invited guest exhibitor.
