CAAWA REGIONAL EXHIBITION 2026
CAAWA is excited to welcome applications to the 2026 CAAWA Regional Exhibition, hosted by Rockingham Ceramics Studio at Rockingham Arts Centre, 11 Kent Street, Rockingham.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Wednesday, 7 October until Sunday, 18 October. Gallery opening times are Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
By submitting an entry for the 2026 CAAWA Regional Exhibition, artists agree to the exhibition terms and conditions including the defined exhibition selection criteria.
Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
Artists must be a current and full financial member of Ceramic Arts Association of Western Australia or Rockingham Ceramics Studio. Artists must reside in regional Western Australia inclusive of Rockingham and the Peel region.

Submission
Up to two works may be submitted per artist. There is a $25 non-refundable administration fee to be paid at the time of registration. One or both entries will be considered pending participation numbers and size of participating artworks.
All submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee. All decisions of the selection committee will be final and binding.
Entry submission includes:

High resolution images of the completed work, image title to include photo credit.

Dimensions for each work, H x W x D

A 50-word artist/artwork statement for each submission

No changes to the entered works will be accepted after the entry close date.
Selection Criteria
Submitted artworks will:

Fired works made between January 2025 – September 2026

show technical proficiency and skills including craftsmanship, structural integrity and surface treatment.
Artwork Specifications and Installation
Submitted artworks may have been previously exhibited.
Artworks can be displayed on the floor, on a plinth or on the wall. Display requests can be made to the exhibition coordinator. All attempts will be made to accommodate specific display requests, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Display options for wall hung pieces are limited, so please discuss with the exhibition coordinator before entry submission.
Plinths will be available in various sizes however if your work requires a specific size and shape plinth, shelf or other gallery furniture, please discuss with the exhibition coordinator and you may be required to supply it with the artwork on delivery.
Selected pieces must be delivered suitably presented and ready for installation. Artist supplied gallery furniture must be clean and in good condition. All gallery furniture is to be white unless otherwise negotiated with the exhibition coordinator.
Works are delivered and removed at the artist’s expense.
Insurance and Liability
The artist is responsible for insuring their artwork during travel and the exhibition period. All care but no insurance cover is provided for artworks whilst in the care and custody of Rockingham Ceramics Studio. Artists acknowledge that CAAWA and Rockingham Ceramics Studio are not responsible for loss, breakage or theft while the artworks are in their care.
Marketing and Promotion
Artists consent to having their artwork filmed or photographed during the install and exhibition period. Images supplied by artists and taken over the course of the project may be used by CAAWA and Rockingham Ceramics Studio for exhibition advertising, marketing and promotion, inclusive of print and electronic media, before, during and after the exhibition concludes. Artists and photographers will be credited in all marketing collateral.
Selected artists agree to to actively participate in shared promotion through individual social media platforms and personal networks.
Sale and Payment
All artworks must be for sale. The sale price is supplied by the artist in the entry form inclusive of 25% sales commission.
A statement of supplier form is to be submitted if you do not have an ABN.
